SKOC Dog Show Weekend

Another Saskatoon Kennel & Obedience Club dog show weekend has wrapped up and what a weekend! Lucy X Jax puppies did very well with Kirby (Inglis Kountry Cowboy) going Winners Male on Friday. He is maturing nicely and Ellen hopes to enter the Rally ring with him soon. Skylar (Inglis Kountry Skye) went Winners Female at the first three shows and Best of Winners once. She finished her Canadian Championship and was shown as a Special on Sunday. We are working to be ready for the rally and obedience ring later this fall. Casey had a fabulous weekend taking Best of Breed twice and Best of Opposite once in a very strong line up of Specials. Thank you to everyone who travelled to attend the FCRSC booster this weekend. It was great to see all the Flat Coats! People at the show often asked me if we were having a specialty this weekend with so many Flat Coats. I can hardly wait for the 2018 Canadian Specialty in Edmonton next August! Casey then went on win the Sporting Group twice and then back-to-back Best in Shows! Thank you to judges, Dr. Gail Forsythe and Cheryl Myers-Egerton, who recognized his quality with breed, group and BIS wins. Casey can now add MBIS to his list of titles – MBIS RBPIS Can GCH/ Am CH Heirborn Above the Law WC PCD RN CGN. He is currently #1 FC in Canada. We are proud of all of our dogs! Casey is pictured below with judge, Cheryl Myers-Egerton.
